The NOOK GlowLight Plus doesn't use ADE to transfer ebooks and won't appear under "Devices." Instead, use these steps to transfer ebooks to your NOOK GlowLight Plus. Problem with Kobo Forma and Overdrive Kobo Reader.only seems to provide a handy shortcut to the saved libraries, and a search filter for books. Going to, signing into overdrive, and then adding libraries doesnt seem to work either. You can typically find those instructions on the manufacturer's help website. So even though I sign into an overdrive account on my kobo, the kobo has no way of 'seeing' what was borrowed on the Libby app. I have 2 library cards, for two libraries. If these steps don't correct the issue, please try a factory reset of your device. My Forma did an update, letting it do that broke access to overdrive. If you continue to have problems with ADE, see this article for more troubleshooting options. Then, reconnect your ereader to a different USB port and wait a few moments to see if it appears. Ensure there is a new menu item in the top-left main menu entitled NickelMenu (it will appear in the bottom-right on firmware 5+). Try closing ADE and disconnecting your ereader. In the first KA1, the books I borrowed automagically appeared in My Books. Ive had to sign out and sign back in four times. ![]() The new KA1 has had a difficult time staying in sync with Overdrive. Its a shame I had to return it for a defective backlight. If it doesn't, you may need to reinstall the drivers on your computer, or contact your device's manufacturer. My first Kobo interfaced with Overdrive perfectly.
